went rock climbing with the sophomore class yesterday. very fun experience, especially since we were indoors and didn’t get caught by the rain.
bill, one of the staff instructors, had this analogy: rock climbing is problem solving. you have to sometimes pause, think, and take a breather before moving forward again. the solution isn’t always clear at first. it can be frustrating, but once you make it, it’s exhilarating.
heard that the junior class got caught by the rain and cold on their ropes course. they also had someone convulsing on the bus too. good that i went with the sophomores. not that i’ve never been stuck outside in the rain before.
